Software Engineer

We are hiring a Software Engineer for a start-up company that develops and provides professional-style data software for amateur and semi-professional sporting clubs and associations within football and rugby.

About the business 

Their ethos is to make such technology available to those outside of the elite level of the games, to enable clubs to gather data and push themselves to the next level. Making technology accessible to all is very much at the heart of what they do. This software tracks player positioning throughout matches and training and helps to inform coaching staff on their tactics and decision-making process.

At the moment, they are going through a significant expansion phase and are currently at a critical point in these growth plans. Sales of their solutions are at an all-time high and so they require more and more technical resources to come in and help to develop these solutions. In Q1 of 2022, they are hoping to grow their development team by 50%.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1-2 years’ commercial experience working with Reactjs and Ruby on Rails
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels and act as a conduit between technical and business operations teams
• Proven experience of Application Development – open to any industry background
• Some interests/hobbies away from coding – looking for someone with personality and creativity to bring to the table
